Label Studio Ghibli Records

A label established in partnership with Tokuma Japan Communications that releases the soundtracks and theme songs of Studio Ghibli films. Ghibli previously released music via the Animage Records label.

Studio Ghibli Records focuses in releasing vinyl LPs soundtracks and image albums with the music of Joe Hisaishi the Japanese composer and musical director known for over 100 film scores and solo albums dating back to 1981. He has been associated with animator Hayao Miyazaki, the founder of Studio Ghibli since 1984, having composed scores for all but one of his films.

All releases are pressed on black vinyl, come with booklets and liner notes, and often include a poster.
